LONG TIME NYC!!!

So I've been away for a little while but I'm back blogging and back in my adopted home NYC for work!! I friggin love this city. Ive just found this amazing artist who I think is on my wave length. He creates camp, butch lipstick blotting body builders and gothic sirens which are kinda LA/Miami in aesthetic but so hot. I want one on my ass!!

I used to draw a comic about gayers on the LES but I shelved it. John Toth has inspired me to dust Normandolf, Braun and Ping Pang n Pong off for a revival. Peace!

I finished this piece ages ago but I came back to it. I changed the colours and distressed it abit. Been doing  a lot on the computer lately, think its time to get the easel out...

ACID SKULLS : The 1st 3 from the set...

So here are the first three I've designed. The first collection is loosely inspired my childrens cartoon characters. Im currently finishing a few more but these are the first three that will make it into production.

New header which is a little taster from my new website. Been workin on the ACID SKULLS, finishing touches and what not. Im always tempted to show my work before its finished...but Im biting my lip and sitting on my hands with one.

This is the new Skull from my Acid Skull tee line.
Minnie Minnie Minnie, Icky Mickey's girlfriend and partner in crime.
Been thinking about making a dark comic love story a la Natural Born Killers...but need to get the 'tee set' out before I can think of anything else.

Brit Deer Print

This is  a repeat print of a deer ink drawing I finished last Febuary for  a mans tee.

An old one...

I designed this when I first got back fromm the States in January and completely forgot about it. There was no purpose for this graphic really but it was a starting point for getting back to drawing with the computer after using crayon for a solid two years. I did  a few of these but this is my favourite...

The elements were created using watercolour and crayon and ink, which I then scanned in and arranged them on Photoshop. I like the Smile/lip graphic and  think t would work on its own as a line illustration...

Another Skull

I seem to have a bit of an obsession with skulls at the moment. This one isnt part of the ACID SKULLS but I like the expression on his face and the colours. My starting point was  a mexican skull but I didnt want it to look like  a traditional one so went for a more slapstick/comic approach

UR MUSIC IS KILLIN ME

This is a small project I did for my commercial portfolio. The digital square thing isnt really my style but Im kinda happy with the outcome so I thought Id share it.

ACID SKULLS

So I got on it...an audiobook and a few power ballads later I finalised my first two designs of my ACID SKULL line. First off is Ickey Mickey, the other is Donnie Rabbit, an homage to Donnie Darko and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. My first collection is going to be primarily based on famous villains or serial killers of the past 100 years
Production is in the pipeline so watch this space...
